Make-Ahead, Storing and Reheating

When it comes to food, I know that convenience is key. That’s why I always love to make extra servings of my Mc Donald’s Southern Style Chicken Biscuits so that I can store them for later and reheat them quickly for a delicious breakfast or snack.

To make these biscuits ahead of time, simply follow the recipe as described in section (4) and allow the biscuits to cool down completely. Once they have cooled down, you can store them in an airtight container placed in the fridge for up to three days.

When you’re ready to enjoy your delicious homemade fast food chicken sandwich, preheat your oven to 350°F and place the biscuits on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Reheat them for about 5-7 minutes or until hot and crispy, and you’re all set!

Alternatively, you could also store the biscuits in the freezer for up to a month by wrapping them individually with aluminum foil before placing them into an airtight bag. To reheat the frozen biscuits, all you have to do is pop them into the oven at 375°F and heat them up for around 10-12 minutes or until they are fully cooked through.

Whether you’re reheating from fresh or frozen, these biscuits will still maintain their explosive southern flavors and crispy texture without losing their deliciousness. I often find myself making extra just so that I can have some leftover for later!

Tips for Perfect Results

To ensure that you get the best results when making the McDonald’s Southern Style Chicken Biscuit at home, there are a few tips you should keep in mind.

First and foremost, it is important to marinate the chicken in the buttermilk mixture for at least 2 hours before cooking. This allows the flavors to penetrate the meat and helps to tenderize it. If you’re short on time, you can marinate the chicken overnight for even better results.

When it comes to breading the chicken, be sure to use a shallow dish or pie plate. This will make it easier to coat each piece of chicken evenly with the flour mixture. You can also use a zip-top plastic bag if you prefer.

For cripsy results, use a deep-fryer or a heavy-bottomed skillet filled with oil heated to 350°F (180°C). Be sure not to overcrowd the pan when frying as this can cause the temperature of the oil to drop and result in soggy chicken.

Once cooked, place the chicken on a wire rack rather than a paper towel-lined plate as this will help to prevent condensation from seeping into the crust and making it soft.

Finally, serve your McDonald’s Southern Style Chicken Biscuits straight away while they’re still hot and crispy. They make for a delicious breakfast item or can be enjoyed anytime as a tasty snack.
